About ourselves

Maag GmbH was founded in 1982 by Jürgen Maag and taken over by Ansgar Schonlau as his successor at the beginning of 2018.

Maag is an internationally active, family-run company that specialises in recyclable plastic packaging. Its range of services includes flexographic printing, lamination and perforation. Maag is recognised as a pioneering innovator in the packaging industry and supplies customers worldwide with recyclable packaging solutions on a daily basis. Its customers include leading companies in the food, hygiene and healthcare industries.

The company supports the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals and implemented a comprehensive sustainability concept in all areas of the company back in 2010. Maag was already able to successfully offset CO2 emissions in 2021 through measures in administration and production.

Owing to the optimisation of the processes within the value chain packaging, we are sparing of resources and reduce costs for our clients.
